How Do You Play?

You can play this stock game as an individual or in a group. Regardless, you must first register as a user of this Web site.

1. Individuals
Simply fill out the online registration form and log in to your account starting with $100,000 in your fantasy portfolio.

2. Groups
After completing Step 1 above, click create a group or join a group by first logging in to your account.

Creating Groups:
You may set up a group and invite co-workers or family members for a friendly competition.

Teachers may group their students and monitor their progress. Click Educator on the top page for details.

You may customize this Web site to host a stock game contest and offer prizes to winners. Click Contests on the top page for details.

Joining Groups:
As a student, you must obtain the group ID and password of the class from your teacher prior to joining the group.

As a member, you must get the group ID and password of the contest from the organization or at the directory of the Contests page. Some contests are open to the public and will post the ID and password on the directory.

When Do You Play?

1. You can start playing as soon as you complete your registration.

2. This game is available 24 hours a day, year-round, even if the stock market is closed. You can select the option to allow after hours trading in the group registration.

3. We may from time to time delete accounts that are inactive for over 6 months.

4. We may also delete groups that have passed the date of the class or contest period.

How Do You Get Started?

1. First, you must register as a user. Click sign-up and fill out the online registration form to get started. Then, log into your account to play.

2. You should click help on the top of each page to read the instructions and rules of the game.

3. You must know the stock symbol of the company trading in a particular exchange. Nortel's symbol, for instance, is "NT" in US markets (NYSE) but is "NT.TO" in the Toronto exchange.
